Draw blood in a large, pink-top (K₂ EDTA) tube, and send 6 mL of K₂ EDTA blood. (Clotted or hemolyzed specimen is not acceptable.)

Note: 1. Weak D testing performed on cord blood only.

2. Label specimen with patient’s first and last name, medical record number, date of draw, and phlebotomist’s initials.
