Specimen Requirements

Draw blood in a gold top tube. Plain red and tiger top SST are acceptable. Centrifuge immediately after collection. If sample does not have gel barrier, promptly seperate from contact with cells after centrifugation and send 1.5 mL of serum. Refrigerate if not tested within 2 hours of collection. Keep at refrigerated temperatures during courier transport.

Intermediate Follicular Phase: <0.05-0.323 ng/mL

Late Follicular Phase: <0.05-0.216 ng/mL

Ovulation: <0.05-2.35 ng/mL

Early Luteal: 2.36-15.1 ng/mL

Intemediate Luteal: 4.76-20.9 ng/mL

Late Luteal: 0.537-13.5 ng/mL

Pregnancy:

First trimester: 11.0-44.3 ng/mL

Second trimester: 25.4-83.4 ng/mL

Third Trimester: 58.7-214.0 ng/mL
