Specimen Requirements

Collection Requirements:    Collect a Plain Red Top tube. Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Centrifuge within 30 minutes of collection.


Shipping/Handling Instructions:    After separation from cells, specimen is stable for 8 hours at room temperature, 48 hours at 2-8° C, and indefinitely when frozen at ≤ -20° C.
