Important Note

If processing when Special Chemistry is closed, you will need:

2 vials of 0.5 mL frozen serum labeled serum

2 vial of 0.5 frozen CSF labeled CSF

THPR	Spinal Fluid, Routine:	CSF RBC's, CSF WBC's. CSF Differential, CSF Glucose, CSF Total Protein, CSF Smear and CSF Culture
MAYO	MS Profile	Kappa free light chain with possible reflex to oligoclonal banding.

Serum and spinal fluid are required.

Spinal fluid must be obtained within 1 week of serum draw. Specimen must arrive within 1 hour of collection.
