Important Note

This test is ordered as a Special Test Micro/Serology (LAB2662).

Testing must be approved by Maryland State Health Department (MSHD) before specimens can be submitted.

If testing is requested on an InPatient, please do not collect specimens until testing has been approved by MSHD.

If testing is requested on an OutPatient, collect blood and urine (in a preservative free container). 

Hold specimen until testing has been approved by MSHD.
