Specimen Requirements
Draw blood in a gold-top serum gel tube. (Hemolyzed specimen is not acceptable.) Spin down and send 2 mL of serum.
Reference Values
Vitamin B12: 232-1245 pg/mL
Folate: ≥4.6 ng/mL
