Specimen Requirements

Submit 2 mL of body fluid in a screw-capped, sterile container or a plain, red-top tube. Sodium heparin is also acceptable. Maintain sterility and forward promptly. Do not use tubes containing EDTA or potassium oxalate/sodium fluoride.
